Great reading the history of The Woolen Blankets. I'm surprised you never mentioned The Hudson Bay blankets! Is that because they're English?

We have had two Beaver State blankets that we picked up at a swap meet in Taos, NM around 1989-90. I've really enjoyed reading all about these blankets and would like to know what they might be worth -- but not really looking to sell them. By reading the label examples in the book you posted, I determined the earth tone, brown/orange/greens blanket is made around 1972. However, the one I'd like to send you a picture of looks like the one that collectors have the most problem with because it could be 1930 - 1972 ? If you would be so kind to contact me, I would like to send you a few photos of the older blanket/shaw - which has fringe and very bright colors; aqua blue, brite pinks and greens. I searched thru your blankets of the month and did not see one like it - except the closest would be the one that was described as bubble gum pink and had fringe also. Thank you and I loved visiting your website!!!

Barry, I met you at the Prix de West a couple years ago. I was the person who knew Ray Trotter, have an Oklahoma friend who collects top Navajo and Rio Grande blankets, and used to run the Blumenschein and Hacienda Martinez in Taos. Anyway, I now am director of a museum in Meeteetse, Wyoming, and would like to know if I could get you out here in 2012 for a presentation on Pendleton Blankets. Let me know what you think!! Thanks!
