I've received numerous calls asking if I issue catalogs. Regrettably, I do not. I buy and sell blankets every day and it would be impossible to keep a catalog current. If you e-mail or call I will be pleased to discuss my inventory with you.
Even if your interest is casual please take a
moment to contact me. I handle the full range of Indian blankets from
upholstery/garment grade "cutters" to one of a kind museum quality
rarities. Whether you're decorating a cabin or mounting a museum
exhibition I can likely assist
you.
As seen immediately below my dear friend Dr.
Whirlwind of the Cayuse tribe provides around-the-clock security in Barry's Blanket Biosphere keeping the finest robes and shawls safe for you, the
collecting public.

BUYING
I am the world's top buyer of quality pre-1942 Indian blankets. Please contact me whether considering the sale of one piece or an entire collection.
APPRAISALS
I do insurance appraisals and also on-site public appraisal clinics - one such event at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City turned up some great rarities. I have done numerous in-store appraisals for the Pendleton Woolen Mills at their store locations in Washington and Oregon and their famous mill at Pendleton, Oregon. I have also had the privilege of doing appraisals at the magnificent Tamastslikt Cultural Institute owned and operated by the descendants of Pendleton's earliest customers - the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation made up of the Cayuse, Umatilla and Walla Walla peoples.
LECTURES
I welcome lecture opportunities and have spoken at many institutions including the Baltimore Museum Of Art, the Heard Museum in Phoenix, Arizona, the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City, the Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa, the Museum of Western Art in Kerrville, Texas, the Museum Of Art at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington and the Eiteljorg Museum of Native American and Western Art in Indianapolis, Indiana.
SHOWS
Mark your calendars - I will be stumbling into action next at the High Noon show in Phoenix, Arizona on February 7 and 8, 2009. If you want me before then yell - I'll be out back.
THIS IS THE KIND OF BLANKET I SELL - YOU DON'T FIND THESE ON EBAY, FOLKS!!!!!
